Snow Pony

*Edit: Since this didn't even make the top fifteen as a finalist, I suppose it can stay up. The hell with you two, greeting card scholarship. Next time I will only do a five minute scribble, since that seems to be what you like to pick to win. >:C*

Originally I was not going to post the final version of this, but since the scholarship contest has officially closed and I don't find out results until mid March, I decided the hell with it. If it wins and they have a problem with it, then I'll remove it then. But I'm pretty proud of it, so I share.



A huge shoutout to *Kutanra, ~StupidFae, ~Amontadillo, ~IvanHattori, and *BronzeHalo for the features and critiques! Unfortunately I did not have time to fix everything mentioned, but I did try to make the nostrils a little deeper, fix the eyes, and fluff up the wreath (even though now I see the fluff on the left layer must have accidentally been hidden). If this doesn't win, I will probably go back and fix everything that was mentioned, just because it will help improve for the next piece. You guys are awesome, and thank you so much for helping to make this piece better!



And, most importantly, a huge thank you to ~mwilliams-stock for letting me use one of her photographs as a reference for this beautiful horse! This is probably only my second or third attempt at a Clydesdale, and he gorgeous horse was absolutely perfect.
