The Skeleton Pony: Blueberry

Happy Halloween from me and Blue!

For a few weeks before our favorite holiday, multiple people were sending me a forwarded picture of a horse with it's skeleton painted on it. In notes, on Facebook (both personal pages and my art page), telling me that I should totally do a version of it. And I'm very happy to announce that oh yes, I did.

Blueberry was so freaking good for this. It took me about 4 1/2-5 hours between two days to finish this. He stood so patiently and even rested his hips for me so I could reach (he's a big horse, k), and did a fantastic job NOT rubbing it all off before the big day. The only part he really rubbed off significantly was his face, which turned out to be perfectly fine because it looked a lot better, like an old skull that had broken and was peeling. Not 100% perfect anatomy, but close enough.
