When the Morning Comes



Just a personal piece. I hadn't drawn Bounce in a very long time (like, over a year long time), and kind of missed her. Was working mostly with color and contrast, since it's something I'm absolutely horrible at. I actually really like how this turned out, I'd say overall it was a success. Not overly crazy about the background, but the color and the horse came out lovely.
I wanted something that was in that moment between night and dawn, where stars could still be present but were fading. I originally was going to erase some of the stars closer towards the left of the painting but then photoshop crashed. And I hadn't saved since I had started today so I was screwed. And lucky I had saved this file for opinions. Maybe when I develop a second wind I'll go in and fix it, but for now I'm happy enough to leave it.
